Fashion as a Reflection of Wellness: How do you believe fashion choices can influence mental health and overall wellness?
As a Certified Colour Therapist I am aware that Colours affect people's mood, holistic health and environment. My mission as a Colour Therapy Practitioner is to help people live their best and healthiest life through Colour Therapy. All colours have positive and negative attributes, dependent upon the already present holistic health of the individual.
Fashion is a form of communication, expression and environmental mood adjuster, as the fashion that is worn accompanies individuals in their environments as well. If individuals feel holistically well, with the fashion choices that they wear, then this is only going to enhance their holistic health.
Holistic Approach: Can you elaborate on your holistic approach to mental health and how it integrates with personal style and fashion?
As a PhD and a Practitioner of holism, which encompasses the whole person. Educating people with knowledge that the whole person must be in equilibrium, in order to look after their own health and the health of their family. Thus minimising symptoms of any illness, supporting the body's capacity to heal, and balancing the body.
This integrates with my personal style of fashion as looking after the self holistically forms part of my fashion choices. The Fashion choices I make enhance my holistic health.
The self
Look after you
There is only,
one you
Never again
Can there,
be another you
One of a kind
That is true
Precious are you
The self is as important,
as those around you
Grace yourself,
with looking,
after you
Then you can
Empowerment Through Style: In what ways do you think clothing can empower individuals, particularly those facing mental health challenges?
If individuals feel good within themselves this will aid people to feel empowered, feeling empowered is related to self-esteem and confidence building.
Self-Expression: How important is self-expression through fashion in your philosophy of mental wellness, and can you share any personal experiences that highlight this connection?
Self-Expression through fashion is paramount. If individuals do not feel happy or comfortable with the fashion they are wearing then their health will be impacted. This can affect the whole regulatory nervous system of individuals.
We are all human-beings of biological nature. The nervous system will react under stressful situations.
My Philosophy of well being and fashion is the aesthetic, which is the Philosophical study of beauty and taste. Which is closely related to the Philosophy of art, which is concerned with the nature of art and the concepts, in terms of which individual pieces of art are interpreted and evaluated, by individuals as having beauty and taste.
Cultural Influence: How do cultural and social factors shape our understanding of fashion and mental health in today’s society?

Summary: When a human-being is born they are an artist. Art is present in the formation of a human-being e.g. creativity is located in the right hemisphere within their brain structure. Nature is the basis of human biology, human-beings created through nature, thus meaning human culture and art exist as one.
If creativity was not nurtured art would still be present in every human-being, however the Arts Culture which is part of every human-being would not be in a position to give back to human-beings part of themselves, as well as enriching the already present artist.
We are all born as nature
We are all born as artist's
Some will have their intrinsic creative artist, nurtured more than other human-beings.

human-beings have access to part of what is also part of them as a human-being. © Carol Natasha Diviney
Self-Nurturing
Imagination relies on the nurture sensation
whether that is intrinsic or extrinsic
Nature nurtures creative nature
Artists are enriching themselves,
through their work
Nature's hand,
developing and evolving artists,
creative journey stand
Thus enriching the already present artist
Nature and nurture co-exist
If artists are happy within their work and achieving the goals they have set for themselves, then self-nurturing of nature is being undertaken by the artist. Artists who are unable to nurture their own imagination must have access to natural nature:
Human culture and art exist as one.
Culture is how different artists educate human-beings, with knowledge about their artistic creative culture. This is shown in the artist's work. Nature nurtures creative nature.
This supports developing and evolving artists on their creative journey.
Self-Nurture of Nature:
If the creative imagination of artists is not nurtured as they develop and evolve clearly they are self-nurturing their inner artist, through their own creative abilities. Imagination relies on being nurtured whether that is intrinsic or extrinsic.
Artists are enriching themselves through their work:
Thus enriching the already present artist.
“Imagination must be nurtured
in order to produce intelligence”
Art is not what the artist sees
It is what they make other people see.

Personal Style Journey: Can you share your personal journey with fashion and mental health? How has your style evolved over the years?
I have always maintained a classical as well as retro fashion style. I have never been influenced by what others feel they wish to wear as fashion.
I have made my choices based on my own personal aesthetics.
The classic re-emergence pieces discussed earlier are a staple addition of my fashion collection. Shirts also form part of my daily fashion because of being a versatile garment e.g. White with pink stripes, black shirts, white with blue stripes.
Advice for Readers: What advice would you give to individuals looking to enhance their mental well-being through their fashion choices?
Focus on the self from within and wear fashion that makes you feel well and comfortable.
Future of Fashion and Wellness: Looking ahead, how do you envision the relationship between fashion and mental health evolving in the coming years?
Undoubtedly the World is moving forward in terms of Al. People are engaging and working more with AI. I envision that Fashion will become more futuristic in terms of the look.
However I believe this will develop from the classic linen mentioned earlier. Linen offers a comfortable, airy feeling and can also be worn in all Seasons. It is pleasant to the touch, aiding sensory wellness; and in addition, the material choice is environmentally responsible.
Linen dries quickly.
Linen is durable and long lasting. Adding a Sliver bag to a linen outfit will compliment anyone looking for a futuristic look. Women and men.
