Is Henry Cavill hanging up the red Superman cape?

According to The Hollywood Reporter Warners and WME-the talent agency representing Henry Cavill, could not come to a contractual agreement for Cavill to play in another film as Superman, or even for a cameo on the upcoming Shazam! (2019) With Zachary Levi.

According to Warners, they were going to be focusing on an upcoming Supergirl movie. Because of the story timeline, Kal-El (aka: ‘Superman’) doesn’t fit into the picture, as he would have only been a child when Supergirl makes her appearance.

No release date has been set for Supergirl.
