2-year-old dies after wind blew over bouncing pad

Caleb Acuna, a 2-year-old playing in a bounce pad at JK’s Pumpkin Patch in Lincoln, Nebraska died after a wind gust blew over the bouncing pad with him still inside.

Sources say he was inside with his 5-year-old sister, Aura. When the gust blew, she was thrown off the bouncing pad, but Caleb remained inside. While Aura suffered from a broken arm and other smaller injuries, Caleb sustained heavy head trauma.

They both received medical treatment, however, Caleb was pronounced dead later at the hospital at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. A GoFundMe page has been set out for the family to help with funeral costs.
