Florida woman jailed for spanking 26-year-old stepson for missing curfew

Valerie Lee Branch-Galloway has been a stepmother for 13 years and for some past 3 months, her stepson had been living at home when the spanking incident occurred.

According to police, her 26-year-old stepson has missed curfew and she gave him an ultimatum, namely, tell his father or "take the licks."

He chose the spanking.

After being hit 11 times with a leather belt on his bottom, he allegedly asked her to stop. She hit him 19 more times with the belt.

Branch-Galloway was arrested on Wednesday and charged with domestic battery but asserts her innocence alleging that she never heard him ask her to stop.
